1. Flag of Austria
The flag of Austria has three bands, that is, red, white, and red respectively. On the white band, there is a logo of Austria’s coat of arms. The red color is used as a symbol of bravery, courage, and strength. On the other hand, the white color is a symbol of honesty and peace.
The eagle in the coat of arms symbol represents the sovereignty of Austria. And the mural crown symbolizes the people of the middle class. It is used as a symbol of remembrance of such people as they are considered the backbone of the nation and the ones responsible for making the country what it is at present.

2. Flag of Bahrain
The flag of Bahrain was adopted in February 2002. It is divided into two unequal parts with a zigzag line in the colors white and red. In other words, we can say that the white stripe on the left is separated from the right red stripe through five triangles. These five points or triangles stand for the five pillars of Islam. The red color is used in the flag to represent the beliefs of kharidschitsche. The white color stands for making peace with its neighboring countries.
3. Flag of Canada
The country’s flag was adopted in February 1965 and it was designed by George Stanley. The flag has three vertical bands, that is, red, white, and red respectively. The white band is comparatively broader and features a maple leaf. It is of red color.
Do you know why this maple leaf is used? Because in the 19th century it became a sign of Canadian identity. It was used in books, songs, music albums et cetera. The flag of Denmark or Dannebrog has a red field and a Scandanavian cross of white color on it. The design is a very simple one as the cross on the field represents a religion, that is, Christianity. Dannebrog is considered to be one of the oldest flags in the world. Some believe that the Danish flag is a gift from heaven. The color red on the flag represents bloodshed and white represents peace and harmony.

Indonesia has a simple bicolor flag of red and white color. It is divided into two horizontal bands of almost the same size. It was given official recognition during the proclamation of Independence in the month of August in the year 1945.

Officially adopted in August 1999, the Japanese flag is also known as Hinomaru. It has a plain white field and a red circle in the center. The circle is a symbol of the sun because the sun plays a very crucial role in the mythology of Japan and also in their religion. Even the emperor is considered to be a descendant of the sun. The white color is used on the flag to represent the honesty and integrity of the people. The red-colored disc also represents the sun goddess, that is, Amaterasu.
7. Flag of Turkey
The flag of Turkey has a red field and it features a white crescent moon and a star. The field is often referred to as a “red banner”. And the same is also used in the National Anthem of Turkey. Inspired by the Ottoman flag, it has a deep meaning behind it. The red background symbolizes a pool of blood of all those Turkish warriors who fought for the nation. The crescent moon symbolizes the religion that is, Islam. Lastly, the star is a representation of the diverse culture of the country.

8. Flag of Latvia
The Flag of Latvia has three horizontal bands of two chestnut colors and a thin white colored band in the middle. The government of the country officially adopted the flag in 1923. The white color is used for peace and independence. Whereas the chestnut color is used to symbolize the bloodshed.
And it also implies the willingness of the people of their country to fight for and sustain their independence. There is another story behind the origin of their flag, that is, the Latvian leader was wounded in a war and was bleeding and his body was covered with a white sheet that got stained by his blood. That is how the flag got its colors.

9. Flag of Tunisia
The Tunisian flag has a red field and in the center of the same, there is a circle between which is a red crescent moon and a five-pointed star. Both the moon and the star are used to represent the religion, that is, Islam. It is also considered a symbol of good luck. The red color is used as a symbol of the blood of the martyrs. Designed by Al Husayn II, it was officially adopted in 1827.
10. Flag of Singapore
Singapore has a bicolor flag of red and white color. There are two equal horizontal bands. On the red band, there is a crescent moon with five stars arranged in a circle. It was officially adopted by the government in 1959. The red color represents equality and unity among the nationals of Singapore.
The white color implies a sense of virtue and purity. The moon is used to represent the rise and prosperous future of the nation. The five stars represent the five ideals, that is, justice, equality, democracy, peace, and progress.
