The total of 16 nations in the construction of ISS namely, The United States, Russia, Canada, Japan, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

The travelling speed of ISS travels is 5 miles-per-second which means the station circle the entire planet at once in once every 90 minutes.ISS is also one of the most expensive objects ever built. The cost of the ISS has been estimated at over $120 billion. The electrical system of the entire space station includes 8 miles of wire which are longer than the entire perimeter of New York City’s Central Park.

Pictures of the first sunrises of 2024 as seen from the International Space Station have gone viral on social media. The International Space Station’s official Twitter account shared four pictures. The status says, “Happy New year! The station crew sees 16 sunrises a day and they officially started 2024 at 12 am GMT, the tweet read.
